For over 13 years, I worked in education as a school counselor, helping students navigate their futures, plan for careers, build life skills, overcome challenges, and believe in what was possible for their lives. During that time, I was so busy with everyone else's children that I did not have the time and freedom to focus on my own child. I realized I wanted something different for myself with more flexibility, more freedom, more time with my family, and work that aligned with the life I truly wanted to live. However, I had no idea how to transition out of traditional work.
Like many women and moms, I felt stuck between responsibility and possibility.
So I spent time researching, learning, rebuilding my resume, understanding transferable skills, and figuring out how to navigate the remote work world in a way that actually worked. Eventually, I discovered strategies that helped me secure remote opportunities, create multiple income streams, and build a life that gave me more freedom and flexibility.
Now I help others do the same.
